Tokki is an unpartnered Ghost searching for her Guardian beyond Saturn.
Biography[edit]
Tokki followed the call to her Guardian, leading her to a Ishtar space station beyond Uranus. There she met a Pouka (later known as "Fish"). Fish showed her quicksilver nanomachines, which she implemented into her shell. Sometime after, Elisabeth Bray arrived at the station after sensing a heat signature. When Elisabeth heard Tokki move, she fired at her, and Tokki hid behind a door frame and begged her not shoot as she was only a Ghost. Elsie lowered her rifle, and questioned why she was out beyond Uranus, and Tokki explained she heard the call to her Guardian. Elsie asked about her quicksilver, and Tokki explained that Fish had showed it to her. After Fish showed Elsie a vision of her agreeing to help her sister Ana Bray, Elsie realized that she should help Tokki.[1]
The team travelled to Ganymede to test the quicksilver with one of the frames found on the space station. Tokki was annoyed that Elsie took the quicksilver, and declared that if it didn't work in the gun, she wanted it back for her shell. Elsie struggled to get the gun to fire, but when Fish touched the weapon, it registered Elsie into it's systems. She fired the gun, and after a few rounds it released a grenade, frightening Tokki and Fish. Tokki thought it was an affect of Golden Age technology, but Elsie informed her that it succeeded technology from that time.[2]
Back in Elsie's ship, Tokki went to work manufacturing a new shell from broken components at Elsie's workbench. Elsie grew exasperated and warned her that some of the equipment was dangerous. Tokki told her she made sure to read the labels carefully, and couldn't go around "naked". Tokki then played with Fish, having it perform different tricks. Elsie questioned if Tokki had taught it those tricks, but after she said she hadn't, Elsie realized that it was once someone's pet.[3]
Stopping at Titan to replenish the deuterium tank, Tokki sensed they were moving away from her Guardian, and bid Elsie and Fish farewell, and continued her search beyond Saturn.[4]
