Threadweaver are a group of Hive Wizards of the Lucent Brood. They were tasked by Savathûn, the Witch Queen with weaving the spell she would use in her ritual to ensnare the Traveler.

Gameplay

The Threadweavers are encountered during the final sections of the Mission The Ritual. They are initially found in the reflected version of the Sanctum of the Brood Queen, residing in towers far in the distance reachable only by portals. These Threadweavers are concentrated on their task, and will not react to attacks. Two sets of three must be slain, with the second set protected by a large amount of Thralls, Cursed Thralls, illusions, and calling forth a Projection of Savathûn with their deaths.

Once the ritual is fully disrupted and Savathûn herself decides to confront the player, she will summon three Threadweavers to maintain an immunity around herself. In this case, they fight like normal Elite Wizards. For every Threadweaver slain, the player will gain a stack of the Thread Cutter buff. Once they are all killed, the buff will begin ticking down for 45 seconds, during which they can damage Savathun. If the Witch Queen still lives after the buff expires, more Threadweavers will appear, and the process will repeat.
