*Terrabase Charon contained flags and emblems of both the [[Dust Giants]] and [[Sand Eaters]], otherwise absent from ''Destiny 2'' as they were consolidated into the Red Legion. 
**This might hint towards previous activity by these factions at the base, and that they later abandoned it because of unknown reasons.
**It can also mean that some of the soldiers operating the base originally came from either the Sand Eaters or the Dust Giants, but were recruited by Ghaul to work for the Red Legion.
