Talk:Sepiks Prime
From Destinypedia, the Destiny wiki
isnt "Sepiks Prime" mentioned as a "hive"... something... scimitar... cylinder? before they mission begins, as a sort of machine god that is feeding the fallen their strength. I got from the vidoe that the Fallen ganked this thing from the Hive and the Hive were trying to get it back. 71.238.243.98 13:01, 2 May 2014 (EDT)
- Rewritten it a bit to make clear that it's an actual machine (god?), not a Fallen itself, even though it's associated with them.--Hawki (talk) 18:08, 2 May 2014 (EDT)
Sepiks Prime's Attacks[edit]
It's fairly obvious that its standard attack is the basic 'eye blast' that all Servitors use. But after seeing it use its other attack - what the game refers to as 'Servitor Attack,' during which it opens its shell, rotates, and charges a siphon of energy directed at the player - it saps roughly 45% of the players shields/health a second; after three quick pulses the player dies and it returns to fighting at longer ranges. This got me thinking: Why is this its 'special' boss attack? What is it doing? Then I remembered the Grimoire on Servitors: "[...] they process matter and energy into the Ether that the Fallen depend on for life." Is it possible that Sepiks Prime's 'Servitor Attack' is it literally siphoning your life energy out, killing you in the process, and processing it into Ether for later?
I was considering adding its attack patterns and explanations to the actual page itself but I figured this was more theory than fact. Thoughts? ~ Veritas 13:15, 18 October 2014 (EDT)
Final Shape[edit]
So I noticed that the Final Days iteration of Devil's Lair, seems to make Sepiks Prime (D2) canon, should we make note of that or something? User:Lightince/Sig
- Mayhaps this is a back-up copy of Septiks Prime built by Fallen pirates.Wendigo GL3 (talk) 14:06, June 17, 2024 (EDT)
Fair idea, just have to wait and see what others say before making a decision User:Lightince/Sig 13:13 June 17, 2024 (CST)
