Nulfiying the Glyphs to summon the Aegis, the Guardian utilizes the shield of Light to shatter Dolgith's shield, before vanquishing the Taken Ogre back to the Sea of Screams. Ascending to the ritual site, the Guardian confronts the Witness itself at the very ritual site where it was created, penetrating its consciousness to destroy three of the many beings sacrificed to become this eldritch monstrosity. Enraged at the Guardian's infuriating exertions, the Witness severs them from its consciousness and sends multiple of its Taken minions to eliminate them.
