Shortly after the [[Awoken]] returned to the [[Solar System]] from the [[Distributary]], Shuro Chi and her fellow [[Techeun]]s assisted the newly crowned [[Queen]] [[Mara Sov]] in dealing with several crises as their civilization established itself in the [[Reef]]. With the alliance forged between the Reef and Eris, Sedia and her fellow Techeuns began preparing for a confrontation with the Taken King and to help Mara ascend to godhood in her confrontation with the Hive god. Following this, Shuro would periodically contact the Guardian regarding [[Public Event]]s within the Dreaming City, as well as . When approached, she will guide the Young Wolf towards a point of interest and offer insight relating to it and the foundations of the Dreaming City and the Awoken.

After the [[arrival of the Black Fleet]], numerous [[Cryptolith]]s appeared across the system, including within the Dreaming City. [[Siegfried]] collected samples from a sacrificial Knight connected to a Cryptolith and delivered them to Petra Venj, who in turn delivered them to Kalli, Sedia and Shuro Chi. The trio placed the samples in sealed containment vessels and examined each specimen.
