Barons are high-ranking Fallen who command one or more Skiffs and their respective crews.
OverviewEdit
Barons are high-ranking Fallen nobility who outrank Captains and are only subservient to their House's Archon, Kell, and/or Prime Servitor.[1] A House's Kell allows their Barons to take some of the largest shares of ether, allowing them to grow to several times the height of a lowly Dreg.[2]
GameplayEdit
Most of the Barons encountered seem to be a variant of Fallen Captains, ranging from the height and strength of a normal Major or Elite Captain to having a towering height that could rival that of an Archon, and are usually found protecting an important objective or leading an assault in missions and/or strikes.[1]
Barons usually carry weapons that ranges from the common Shrapnel Launcher, a Shock Rifle or even at rare times Shock Blades, Scorch Cannon, or a Molten Welder, along with leading one or several crews of Dregs, Vandals, and even Captains due to their higher rank.

- On October 27th, 2016, the page Eramis was created on Destinypedia after a user misheard the quoted line by Variks which originally mentioned the Baroness, Veekris.[3][4]
- Kridis, Atraks, Phylaks and Praksis are referred to as "Stasis Baron" in various press release articles published on Gameinformer, Forbes and etc.[5][6]
