The Manus Celer Dei is currently the only known Exotic jumpship in Destiny.[1] It should be noted that, while the ship does exist within the game's files, it has not yet been attained through normal gameplay. Exotic ships have since been added to Destiny 2.
Trivia[edit]
- The phrase "manus celer dei" means "Swift Hand of God" in Latin.
- The flavor text for the ship is the Bungie corporate motto, intended to translate from Latin as "don't make us kick your ass"; the phrase is grammatically incorrect, likely intentionally.[2]
- The ship "Manus Celer Dei" also appeared in Marathon 2: Durandal, as the Jjaro dreadnought Durandal comes back to Earth with in the game's ending.
