The Malevolent Ritualists are Hidden Swarm Wizards seen in the Pit of Heresy Dungeon, where they are scattered around a booby-trapped arena, using their occult power to seal the way to the Cradle of Damnation.

Gameplay

When the players drop into "The Harrow" section of The Pit, they will be presented with three Hive runes. These runes indicate the areas where each Malevolent Ritualist lurks. Players will have to navigate the maze full of lethal traps to find the Wizards. While they are protected by Acolytes with Soulfire Rifles, and occasionally Shriekers, they have no particular mechanic and can be slain from a distance. Once all the Malevolent Ritualists are dead, the way for the next area will open.
