Heilung is an unpartnered Ghost and member of the Watchful Eye. A year before the start of Operation Ahamkara, she had been sent on a long-term reconnaissance mission in the Court of Savathûn but had since lost contact.

As the Coalition began preparations to stop the Witness from enacting the Final Shape, Micah-10 would give the Guardian Heilung's last known coordinates deep in the Throne World and send them to bring her to the Pale Heart to help the Traveler recover, using the Witch Queen's focus on the Pale Heart to their advantage. After managing to escape from an Ahamkara Illusion, the Guardian eventually found Heilung's location was elsewhere in the Throne World, in the Sanctum of the Brood Queen, and that she had apparently been watching them the whole time, much to Micah's frustration. Eventually, Heilung would be recovered and brought to the Pale Heart to both help the Traveler heal and provide what intelligence on the Lucent Brood she gathered.

• "Heilung" is a German noun meaning "healing", and is also the name of a folk music band founded in 2014.
