Hecate is an unpartnered Ghost and a scholar in Hive lore who once studied under Eris Morn and Toland, the Shattered.

During Operation Ahamkara, as the Coalition began preparations to stop the Witness from enacting the Final Shape, Micah-10 would send the Guardian to find Hecate in the Cosmodrome and bring her to the Pale Heart to help in the Traveler's recovery after learning she was searching rumors of the House Dusk moving to the Devils' old territory. After intercepting a supposed deal between the House of Dusk and Eramis for weapons in exchange for a Prime Servitor, the Guardian would find Hecate where they were first resurrected and brought her to the Pale Heart to help heal the Traveler.
