The whole rest of their species. Shows how much they want payback. They're risking it all, on our turf, just for a piece of the Hive. After losing Torobatl, we cannot lose our honor. It's the only thing we have left. You offer an alliance as equals. But I offer something even more valuable: exaltation. Within our ranks, the Guardians will be revered. They will be free, as the Psions are now. They will be our most elite force - the pride of the Cabal Empire. So, for the last time, join us. It's even possible that the Witch Queen walks among them! Unfortunately, the current Vanguard will stop at nothing to protect their place in their ivory tower. They don't understand the people of the Last City. And their actions prove it. Future War Cult and New Monarchy say: enough! We intend to return this city to its people. If the Vanguard won't protect you, then we will.}} |

Bracus Forge defeated him with a single thunderous blow. As is our custom, he was promoted to "Valus" for his courage. He has also started a version of the Iron Banner aboard my flagship, at my request. There are many volunteers for his training. He calls his Legionaries "Iron War Beasts." We have much to learn from one another, and Valus Forge is an excellent ambassador. I dare say he even likes it here. Her final ritual banished Xivu Arath from her own throne world. The Hive God of War is vulnerable for the first time in millennia. When the time comes, we can finally force a decisive engagement against her. But first we have to deal with the Witness. To that end, it seems the Witch Queen held up her end of the bargain. I didn't want to let her go, but Savathûn offered some Enticing collateral: she left Immaru in Vanguard custody. He's an odious little wretch, but an important one. As long as we control the Witch Queen's connection to the Light, she'll think twice before crossing us. It went against my every instinct to let Savathûn squirm away again... but we need to keep our attention on that portal. She gave us the secret to breaching it... now we just need to discover what form it's taken. For now, Ahsa is back in hibernation, and Eris is recovering. More than that... she's thriving. I was worried that Eris's obsession with the Hive would overwhelm her. But she's carrying herself with an air of confidence I haven't seen in a century... And I'm just glad to see her happy.}}

It has an end in mind, and it knows what that means. Your game has always been the attack-and-trade. The thrill of victory and the agony of retreat. When the means is violence, you're happy to no end. But this game isn't fought to the last knight standing. Or even the queen. It ends when the king has no moves left. Not endless fighting, but the end of fighting. Listen to me go on. You've got other problems, wherever you are. You've been locked out of your own castle. Mortal for the first time in millennia. Our best minds have been working on this for centuries, so there should be plenty. Next, pull all the Hidden reports on the wall of wishes. I know it makes bargaining with wish-dragons less likely to backfire, but we’ll need to know exactly how the Techeuns designed it. And speaking of the Dreaming City, set aside all the after-action reports from the Keep of Voices. And highlight anything to do with the lost final wish. If the path into the portal really depends on a wish-dragon, knowledge will be our most potent weapon. They're powerful in ways that we don't understand, and I'm sure they have some… hard feelings after the Great Hunt. We'll need to tread carefully. I thank you. I was terrified. Not only of the Hive, but of you. When you arrived, I thought it was to follow through on your threat. Then you turned and raised your blade against my assailants. But that same blade would have taken the life of my father, if you'd had the advantage. I am not afraid of what you are. But I am afraid of what you do. The Whirlwind led to you. It led to my father. But it led to me as well. We can see a future for the Eliksni beyond the pain of the Whirlwind, but you think you can't be a part of it. I do not believe that. My father spared you because he saw that you could turn from a path he had once followed. I see this also. I know the futility of this, but I will say it regardless: there is a place for you here. We need not be enemies. Come home, Eramis.}} |

But now you're back, and we're partners again! So, I forgive you. Please don't leave. Our research has been the most eventful and fulfilling time I've had in centuries of silent abandonment. It's good to be part of a team again. And, Captain, remember you're part of the team too! I know what it's like to have to be the strong, silent type... through no choice of my own. | |

| |
|

| |title6=Osiris reflects on Maya
| |
| |content6=
| |
|
| |
| |title7=Maya's invitation
| |
| |content7=
| |
|

| |title8=Maya's Log
| |
| |content8=
| |
| Osiris:
| |
| Maya Sundaresh:
| |
| Osiris:
| |
| |title8=Ikora's message
| |
| |content8=Ikora:
