Zou'urc, Defiled Bather is a Cabal Gladiator of Emperor Calus's Loyalists. Likely due to Calus' attempts to try and control the Hive with Gahlran and the Crown of Sorrow, and later deception of the Witch Queen that would follow, Shin'ra would begin to imprison some of Calus's Loyalists within his Subjugated Vault aboard the Nephilim, starting with the failed predecessor of the Sorrow-Bearer, Zou'urc. He would eventually be killed by Glimmer hungry Guardians, seeking to find the location of the Emperor.

Gameplay

Zou'urc fights like any other Cabal Gladiator, relentlessly charging at their opponents and cutting them down with his corrupted Severi. Due to his high durability and increased strength, he can easily break down a Guardian's shield with ease, if not kill them. His blades also leave a Burn that can scorch targets. He will also leave streams of Solar flames everywhere he steps. What makes him more dangerous is that he is also capable of teleporting, randomly appearing near players in order to get quick strikes at them.

After a short time, Zou'urc will gain an immunity shield, stoping Guardians from attacking him any further. Guardians must then locate one of Zou'urc's Chamberlains in order to acquire the Void Crystal in order to break his shield. Whoever his shield breaks, he will instantly Enrage and charge towards the one who breaks his shield. When Enraged, Zou'urc will deal twice as much damage, likely killing players in one swipe.

• Zou'urc shares similarities to Gahlran, the Sorrow-Bearer and his Deceptions, both in appearance and abilities.
