General play on words for the weapon perk [https://d2.destinygamewiki.com/wiki/Vorpal_Weapon Vorpal Weapon] from the destinycirclejerk reddit. No real known original use of it sadly. Blame Reddit for not having a sort by oldest function. --{{User:bluebeefalo/Sig}}

Random anonymous user replaced Sluggeria with Zorpengrad a while ago, you can check the edit logs. I changed it back but put it back in as the lore thinking I got it from Reddit or something lol. Apparently comes from the term "Stalingrad tactics" in the Destiny circle jerk subreddit which was making fun of someone for saying they used WW2 Stalingrad tactics in the crucible but I personally haven't seen it being used there, I might've been taking a break from Reddit at the time. The full quote, thanks to u/Complex-Maintenance4 is as follows:<br>

"That's actually very helpful!

Most of my battle tactics are based off WWII-Era Stalingrad sweep & clear maneuvers, combined with the modicum of things I picked up from my military family. Fire & Displace, grenade around corners to clear an unknown hallway from bushwhackers, and even using shaders to make my character blend in.

Honestly some real-world techniques do work even in a video game. At least, until you factor in the "magical power of bullsh*t" unique to the game."<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/destinycirclejerk/s/n5W0QtEJnZ</ref> --{{user:bluebeefalo/Sig}}

Zorpalodified Paul Tassi, the relatively popular journalist who used to be referenced a lot on the subreddit because people on r/Destinythegame kept saying he "hit the nail on the head" on his articles outlining issues with the game. --{{user:bluebeefalo/Sig}}
