Totomaru, also known as The Manipulator, is a member of The Black Swordsman and The White Angel's notorious organization called The Shadowkeepers.

The former Mage of the Phantom Lord Guild, he would be resurrected as a Shadowkeeper and assist Kirito and Asuna in destroying The Last City so that The Black Fleet can enshroud Earth.

He is a supporting antagonist of the Paradox expansion.
