The Compound was a heavily armored dam and lab operated by an unknown corporation before the collapse. After the collapse, a creature known as The Believer inhabited it. The Believer remained dormant for a long time so many species managed to infest the large facility. It takes place near a river in a bayou with tall concrete walls and metal beams. It has flood lights flashing out on the river.

Gameplay

The Compound is separated into multiple quests and a difficult game mode known as the Trial of the Believer.

Night of the Living Husk

Sometimes the Guardian must hunt down The Living Husk during the night in the Swampland.
