The '''Takedown under the Vipers' Lair''' is a [[Fallen]] [[Forum:Takedown|Takedown]] released in [[Forum:Season of the Vipers|Season of the Vipers]]. After the deaths of [[Forum:Kalrix, the Unwavering Claw|Kalrix, the Unwavering Claw]] and the members of his inner council, the Slithering Fangs. The House of Vipers would resort to their [[Prime Servitor]], [[Forum:Ralkis Prime, the Unclenched Jaw|Ralkis Prime, the Unclenched Jaw]] as a means of leadership.

==Overview==
Following the events of the [[Forum:Season of the Vipers|Season of the Vipers]], after the deaths of their [[Kell]], [[Forum:Kalrix, the Unwavering Claw|Kalrix]] and [[Archon]] [[Forum:Sabaskis, Archon Priestess|Sabaskis]], [[Forum:The Vipers' Lair|The Vipers' Lair]], a large castle complex, would be open to all after its discovery during the rescue of [[User:Joskaa|Joskaa]]. With their Kell and his council gone, [[Forum:Grayvis|Grayvis]], Joskaa's consort and [[Forum:AJ, the Relentless|AJ, the Relentless]] would began target the remaining Viper leaders. Leading to locating [[Forum:Ralkis Prime, the Unclenched Jaw|Ralkis Prime]], House Vipers' [[Prime Servitor]] deep below within the castle, which prompt AJ to form a [[Fireteam]] to raid the fortress and destroy the Prime.

As with many of the Takedown, there is not that many mechanic based encounters that [[Guardian]]s must deal with, instead with three encounters only: starting from The Courthouse, after defeating [[Forum:Valsis, Archon Rising|Valsis, Archon Rising]], and then defeating the [[Forum:Brig Sentry|Brig Sentry]] for players who want to gain the [[Exotic]] [[Glaive]], [[Forum:The Accursed Wail|The Accursed Wail]].

*Enshrouded Brig: Powerful [[Major]] missile-equipped [[Brig]]s deployed by the House of Vipers as agressive bulwarks on the surface of the Vipers's Lair castle complex. Armed with [[Stasis]] empowerments that are able to slow down enemies. Enshrouded Brigs are able to emit temporary Stasis fields similar to that of the Duskfield Grenades; when getting close they are able to blast Stasis groundbound seeker to those nearby.
*Uplifted Machinist: High-ranking [[Fallen]] [[Captain]]s serving as priests for the ritual of [[Forum:Valsis, Archon Rising|Valsis, Archon Rising]]. Wields a [[Shock Rifle]] or a [[Molten Welder]] and emits a glow that is associated with the [[Solar|Elements]] [[Arc|of]] [[Void|Light]] [[Stasis|and Dark]]. Due to this, they are able to channel elemental energy waves when enraged. Upon death, they drop an elemental [[Cryptoglyph]].
*Archon Servant: Elite Servants of Ralkis Prime, the Archon Servants are [[Dreg]]s that are distinguished by their beige armors rather than the usual white of [[Major]]-ranking Vipers. They are seen throughout the Takedown and are able to emit a healing ability similar to [[Servitor]]s and are immensely agile, quickly avoiding adversaries as they dart around healing any nearby allies. But they are able to attack from a good distance with their [[Shrapnel Launcher]]s. They also have an [[Ultra]] variant that wields a Molten Welder but has the same appearance and abilities as a generic Dreg.
*Ralkis Minor: [[Major]] [[Servitor]]s created and deployed by Ralkis Prime as countermeasures and as enforcers within its domain. Instead of having the ability to shield allies, Ralkis Minor are able to emit a [[Void]] Suppression and slowed blast attacks to combat [[Guardian]]s. They are able to open Tribute Shrines that are activated when they are close and deactivates when the Servitors are destroyed.
