The Nightmare of Actaeon, Silenced Mind is the Nightmare of a powerful Vex Mind of the Sol Divisive. It is encountered in the Congressional Offensive activity serving Nezarec to keep both forces of the Created Congression and a Guardian fireteam from accessing the Witness' records on Tivon.

Gameplay

The Actaeon, Silenced Mind is one of three powerful Nightmares that can randomly appear as the final boss of the Congressional Offensive. The Nightmare will spawn after the Guardian activates their Resonant Becon. It will function like other Ultra Hydras, firing its Aeon Mauls to attack and its rotating shields for defense while summoning various Nightmare Vex to support it. All the while, the Hydra will teleport around the arena after sustaining a certain amount of damage. After losing one-half of its health, the Nightmare Hydra will become immune to damage.

Trivia

• In terms of appearance, the Nightmare of Acateon has the body of Cottux, Compelled Mind and the head of Sublimating Mind, Forge Warden with the coloration and foliage of a Sol Divisive Hydra.
• Actaeon shares the name of a Greek Hero who was transformed into a stag by Artemis to keep him from speaking after accidentally seeing her bathing in the woods.
