Morgana's Grace is an Exotic Hand Cannon introduced in the Paradox expansion for Destiny 2. The weapon was built by Morgana Archwell, who defected from the Vanguard.
It can be acquired from Xûr, Agent of the Nine for 23 Legendary Shards.
Lore[edit]
Taylor cautiously approached Morgana, fusion rifle in hand, and its sight trained at her former half sister.
"It's just not enough with you, is it? First you dabble with illegal weapons, then with Taken, and now the Darkness itself?" Taylor asked with a hint of disbelief.
"Rules are meant to be broken, Taylor. And clearly, you can see the benefits." Morgana turned, drawing her hand cannon.
"Why? Why do you want to undo what we worked so hard for?" he asked, now even more cautious of her encroaching hostility.
"Can't say what we did was much of an accomplishment. I don't think I'd be losing much. Besides, it's hard to make progress when people put policy ahead of it, wouldn't you agree?" Morgan responded coldly. "I genuinely thought you'd learn after Ater-8's last death, but hell, guess I should have known better."
"You left her to die, Morgana!" Taylor said in pained anger.
"And you were the one to pull the trigger to end her life, boy. Not me." Morgana retorted. "You know, had you left it with me, I could've saved her. But, no. You let your rules of life take the wheel, and take her life." she added, clearly angered.
"You think by following the rules without ever stepping out of line would make you righteous. Untouchable. Invincible, even. Well, guess what, boy. Rules get people killed more often than not." Morgana said coldly.
"As if you have any right to make that observation!" Taylor meekly retaliated. In a brief moment, the rifle was shot out of his hand, landing on the floor next to him.
"Taylor, I've seen enough horrors to make many big decisions in my life. This? This is just a drop in a bucket." Morgan said as she pointed at her half-brother's holstered hand cannon. "I know just as much as you as you know about me."
"...There will be no second chances after this." Taylor said grimly.
"Funny. I don't remember you or the Vanguard ever giving me one." Morgana replied, her thumb racking the hammer.
Perks[edit]
- Durandal: Fires two explosive shots at once. Explosive damage is capable of precision hits, and rapid precision hits increase damage, stacking up to four times.
- Prima: Every second, third, fifth and seventh precision hit returns one, two, three and four rounds to the magazine respectively.
- Appended Mag: This weapon's magazine is built for higher capacity.
- Increases magazine size
- Arrowhead Brake: Lightly vented barrel.
- Greatly controls recoil
- Increases handling speed
- Combat Grip: This weapon's recoil direction is more vertical.
- Greatly controls recoil
Catalyst[edit]
Upgrades this weapon to a Masterwork. It will generate Orbs on multikills and gain a tracker that displays the number of combatants defeated with it. The Masterworked weapon will also receive additional capabilities and an exclusive perk.
- Eighty Seven: Hold Reload to convert this weapon into a close range Shotgun with high spread and short range. (Unlock by earning 87 rapid-kill streaks with this weapon.)
