"Um, hello? I seem to be new here. Can anyone give me any idea of what I'm supposed to do? Am I supposed to...kill this Guardian? How do I do that?"
— Commander Noob questioning her directives

Commander Noob is a terrible Cabal commander noted for her idiocy. She always questions her directives and is generally unsure of her surroundings. She's so easily confused that you kind of feel sorry for her, but at the same time, it frustrates you so much that you start to lose patience for her. Remember: she's still an enemy.

Gameplay[edit]

Commander Noob largely fights like a normal Incendior, using her Cabal Magma Launcher to fire puffs of flame at an extended range; she also unleashes a compression blast at close range which has increased knockback force over normal Incendiors. When faced from behind, her fuel tank will release a short-range blast that will knock the player down for a short time. Commander Noob will occasionally fire off Cabal Frag Detonators that have a larger blast radius but a longer fuse time. Her Void shield is completely immune to any damage type that doesn't match its element, but takes longer to recharge than a normal elemental shield. However, her signature weapon is a Rubber Duck Bomb, which will bounce around before seeking out a target. Once it spots a target, it will bounce towards them and will increase its speed as it gets closer. Upon detonation, it will inflict its target with a confusion effect, which inverts the player's controls and enables friendly fire for a short time; targets hit by friendly fire are inflicted with this debuff. Despite this, you can easily take advantage of her own confusion.
