Barrier Taken Wizards are former Overload Wizards that were taken and granted the means to protect themselves from hostiles with the Darkness.

Gameplay

These powerful, twisted Wizards will act much like their standard counterparts, strafing any attack that may come their way and unleash their Solar Necromantic Gaze on their opponents. One small feature is their ability to conjure their Shadow Thrall minions while on the move. Whenever threatened with death, however, these dark Champions will envelop themselves in a dome shield to briefly protect and heal themselves; they are still capable of hurling a barrage of Necromantic blasts at their opponents. Whenever facing these threats, Guardians should utilize Anti-Barrier rounds or other tactics to shatter their dome shield and eliminate the threat of the Taken Wizard.
