When players first meet it, it will spawn in [[The Refraction]] after the adds have been cleared while the buff '''Savathûn's Envoy''' is active that lasts for 6 minutes and 30 seconds. It will flee upon reaching ⅔ of its health and drop an orb of Sublimated Darkness, which must be carried to the plate that was used to deposit Darkness motes during the fight with the [[Pillar of Silence]] in [[Exegesis]]. When players face it again in the final encounter, it will be the second boss players face, and it will be resistant against non-Strand damage sources. After reaching ⅔ of its health, it will raise an immunity shield that can only be lowered when the player with the '''Light Alignment''' buff shoot the symbols called out by the player with the '''Darkness Alignment''' buff from top to bottom. After reaching ⅓ of its health, it will flee to a resonance barrier that can lowered after both it and Expector Selin have reached the health threshold and then both players have shot the Pyramid switches they have in common on the clock-like dial. After the barrier is lowered, both bosses must be defeated before the timer runs out to claim their Exotic class items as a reward.
