With the arrival of The Witness, the Shadow Legion would deploy their forces on Earth and imprison people in their prisons, including Amanda Holliday. Devrim would work alongside Mithrax, Mara Sov, and The Crow to form a plan to free Amanda and the other prisoners. Once the Guardians arrived in the European Dead Zone, Mara would use her power to allow the Guardian to travel into the Ascendant Plane and infiltrate the prison from within. They would succeed and Amanda would be rescued. Devrim would later be dubbed a Queensguard by Mara Sov. When Amanda was killed Devrim was heartbroken, he knew justice and revenge wouldn't bring her back. He did not want to fight anymore. However when he spotted a employment of Shadow Legion soldiers who were pushing a group of prisoners behind them, he remembered this fight was not about him, but them. He picked up his rifle and killed the Shadow Legion soldiers. He knew they had to keep fighting because it's what Amanda would have wanted. Later Devrim alongside Mithrax, Crow, and the Guardian would enter the Ascendant Realm, infiltrating and destroying the Shadow Legion's ship to take revenge for Amanda's death. | With the arrival of The Witness, the Shadow Legion would deploy their forces on Earth and imprison people in their prisons, including Amanda Holliday. A cultured yet hardy survivor with a sarcastic sense of humor, Devrim Kay has long taken care of himself outside the Last City's walls, aiding those who either cannot reach the city or those who simply wish to live outside of it. Though he is more welcoming to the idea that those who live outside of the city should align and work with the Guardians, whom he holds great respect for, he has some dissatisfaction towards some of its factions like New Monarchy. Though kind and well-meaning, Devrim can be somewhat of a pragmatist, as he supported Suraya in her little theft of New Monarchy's supplies to feed the starving. Further, he was more than willing to steal supplies from enemy factions like the Cabal and Fallen to keep the Farm up and running. | A cultured yet hardy survivor with a sarcastic sense of humor, Devrim Kay has long taken care of himself outside the Last City's walls, aiding those who either cannot reach the city or those who simply wish to live outside of it.
