Transcript[edit]
The Guardian lands in the Rupture, the peak of the Pyramidion's gate visible beyond the drop off.
- Sagira: Are you sure there's a map of the Infinite Forest here?
- Ikora: If the Vex are trying to reshape the future, the Pyramidion is part of the plan. The map has to be here.
The Guardian descends toward a Vex plate. Upon activating it, a conflux appears nearby.
- Sagira: I know a trick with that conflux.
Approach the conflux and allow Sagira to scan.
- Ikora: Brace yourself for the Vex welcoming party.
The door to the Pyramidion slides open.
- Ikora: Or not.
- Sagira: With me, you get the shortcuts.
While the Guardian proceeds into the Pyramidion, Ikora and Sagira speak.
- Ikora: Sagira, I know we didn't leave one another on the best of terms…
- Sagira: You led the group that exiled my Guardian. I didn't like it. But... people weren't ready to hear what Osiris was saying back then.
- Ikora: It wasn't just his prophecies. He never understood there was more to being a Warlock than being the smartest person in the room.
- Sagira: Osiris has changed. You're still the same by-the-book Ikora I remember.
- Ikora: I'm not so sure about that. Losing my Light was revealing. I see now I need to be more than I was. Maybe we all do.
Vex appear in the path at the end of a short, narrow hallway. Beyond them, the vast room contains several more Vex the Guardian must face as they traverse across platforms that appear as they approach. Once the room is cleared and the Guardian passes through the hall at the other end of the room, Sagira gives an update.
- Sagira: Great. Looks like Ikora was right. My scans show the Pyramidion does receive data from the Forest. I've got the location of a conflux where we can access it.
The Guardian finds a space crawling with Vex that are guarding a gateway.
- Sagira: I can reprogram that warp gate. It should get us close to the conflux.
Once the Guardian has defeated all of the Vex, the gateway opens.
- Sagira: Calculations are ready. All you gotta do is jump through the hoop.
On the other side of the gateway, the Guardian finds themselves in a narrow hall.
- Sagira: Well, that didn't work as well as I expected…
- Ikora: The Sagira I knew would never admit to anything less than Osiris-level perfection.
- Sagira: Ikora, here's a secret. No one has ever lived up to Osiris's reputation. Not even Osiris.
The Guardian finds another gateway, this one placing them at the top of a slope leading down to a pit of Vex construction. Upon approaching, it becomes clear that the way is blocked by a barrier and on top of it is a Cylops, Network Protection. Vex enemies spawn all around and must be defeated before the barrier collapses. The Guardian drops down the pit and into a no re-spawn zone.
- Sagira: I can tell that the conflux is somewhere nearby, but the Vex must be cloaking it.
There's a plate to the left and right of the Guardian. Once one is activated, Vex enemies spawn in and continue to do so as the Guardian activates the plates.
- Sagira: Look out, we've got incoming!
Once the enemies are defeated and both plates are open, a barrier drops and the conflux appears at the top of the stairs.
- Sagira: There we go.
The Guardian approaches the conflux so Sagira can scan it.
- Sagira: The map's not here. I don't understand.
- Ikora: Keep looking.
- Sagira: Wait, I've got something. Coordinates for a node in the Infinite Forest. That's where our map is.
