==Gameplay==
Most of the Barons encountered seem to be a variant of Fallen Captains, ranging from the height and strength of a normal [[Major]] or [[Elite]] Captain to having a towering height that could rival that of an [[Archon]], and are usually found protecting an important objective or leading an assault in missions and/or strikes.<ref name="Destiny"/>

Barons usually carry weapons that ranges from the common [[Shrapnel Launcher]], a [[Shock Rifle]] or even at rare times [[Shock Blade]]s, [[Scorch Cannon]], or a [[Molten Welder]], along with leading one or several crews of [[Dreg]]s, [[Vandal]]s, and even [[Captain]]s due to their higher rank.
