Bank (Gambit)

Banks are devices invented by the Drifter created after escaping an ice planet infested with Light-suppressing creatures to store Motes of Dark.[1] They feature prominently in Gambit and Gambit Prime, where the objective is to collect Motes from slain enemies and stockpile them in a bank. When a sufficient number of Motes are deposited at once, a bank can be used to summon Taken; filling a bank completely allows it to summon a Primeval.[2]
On a few occasions, the Drifter has been able to modify a Bank to contain darker elements than the Motes of Dark, such as Resonant Motes during the Arrival of the Black Fleet and Egregore Coral to help Sloane strengthen her bond with Ahsa during the Skirmish of Titan. [3][4]
