''A New Frontier'' is an [[Adventure]] tutorial taking place in the [[EDZ]] following the Guardian's regaining their [[Light]] during the mission ''[[Spark]]'' and before the mission ''[[Combustion]]''. Completion of ''A New Frontier'' will unlock ''Combustion'' and the adventures ''[[Calling Them Home]]'' and ''[[Poor Reception]]''.

During the course of ''A New Adventure'', the player is introduced to [[Ghost Scans]], Regional Chests and Lost Sectors and the exploration of the [[European Dead Zone]].
