Field Tactician Borusk is a Cabal Legionary and leader of an unidentified mercenary organization. Seeking to avoid draft into a scout Legion, Borusk would join up with a mercenary group, providing them with his personal weaponry and skill in maintenance. However, thanks to his unidentified Primus, he would become a skilled and ruthless warrior within the organization. However, thanks to backfiring conditioning, Borusk would mutiny against his commander and usurp leadership. After serving countless contracts made by a fractured Red Legion and other Cabal deserters, he would become tempted by the riches promised through the Rite of Proving, where he would attempt to prove himself with the extermination of a Hive nest and join the Imperial Cabal in an effort to gain fortune through a position in the War Council.
