As the Young Wolf finished disabling ''The Almighty'' and was on their way back to Earth, Hawthorne led the infiltration effort alongside the three Vanguards. She was impressed by Cayde using his chicken [[Colonel]] as a distraction to eliminate seven Cabal sentries in a row. She and her team took up position outside a fortified Cabal outpost where they intended to set up a stolen [[Vex]] teleporter to reach Ghaul's flagship. Notifying Zavala they were ready, the Commander ordered Ikora to lead her attack team on [[Sparrow]]s to begin the battle.
