Basilisks are powerful Vex warrior models of the Sol Convergent. They appear to have been modified Harpies gifted the power of Stasis via Stioceon's Echo.

Gameplay

For the most part, Basilisks resemble Harpies, but they have a long Vexy tail made of Pink Radiolaria instead of several small tentacles and Stasis crystals forming on the tips of the tail and its fins. They also have parts of their fins made of glass that have Stasis energy swirling within.

They also function closely to normal Harpies, floating nimbly through the battlefield and using their Harpy Slap Rifles for light damage. They can also melee, using their tail to strike at any enemies that get too close to it.

Its eye will normally glow pink, but when its Super is charged, it will change to deep blue, and it will be able to cast it at any time. Upon casting their Super, they can open their shell to unleash a series of Freezing Bolts that will slow/freeze anyone hit. If close enough to a frozen target, the Basilisk will melee, doing much more damage than normal.
