Fallen Exo Safeguards are a variant of Captain that are chassies of Atraks-1, Fallen Exo but wield Shock Rifles.
Gameplay[edit]
The Safeguard variant functions like any captain with a Shock Rifle but can drop Nuclear cores necessary to survive the encounter's wipe mechancies. These cores like the ones from Deep Stone Crypt apply the "Radiation" debuff while held. The debuff becomes fatal if the number reaches 10. To prevent this, players are advised to coordinate their radiation levels by passing each other the cores. Failure to deposit the cores in time will also result in the team wiping. They are also one of two Chassis who can deploy their installed distress beacon to call for help.
