From Destinypedia, the Destiny wiki
Oh no, that's perfectly fine. I hadn't figured in the Strikes, but that's also something to look into. I'll make sure everything is formatted correctly, add those info boxes complete with the Grimoire images where available, and so on.
I was looking through the Quests category and I've noticed it is woefully under-equipped, only five articles. I say this should be our next project after the Story missions of Destiny and her expansions.
Yes, they really are minor and so are not essential. Everything checks out after all.
I get'cha now. Nowadays I'm sure they're ore cautious or simply don't care. Meh.
I'll take a look on that one. Siege of the Warmind's the one with no clear objective?
Well, I can see this is one of those things where we're set in our ways and further conversation on these matters can turn very ugly, regardless of whether or not it is a debate. So I respectfully bow out and say we can agree to disagree.
I'll be sure to look at Lennox.
Well, if what *you* said is true, then why on Earth would you not believe me when *I* said they are true? ;)
C.S. Lewis is indeed a genius. That quote, by the way, is taken from his landmark work "Mere Christianity".
You're welcome. As for being original, try not to be. As C.S. Lewis once said, "Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it."
I would have the Rangers be already on their way to rescue the colony, but get diverted by finding the MC, and learning from him the colony has already been destroyed. As for your previous question... what did you mean, exactly? If it is a fanfiction, based off of Destiny, then of course you can reference Destiny liberally. If it isn't, well, don't use concepts directly from it. At best you can give a nod with a name here, a similarly designed faction there, and so on, but not a direct plagiarisation of it.
Always good for a reminder. I'll do another one for The Dark Below when I get my mind around to it, which will probably be by tonight as I'm a bit worn out now.
Awesome. (y) I'm looking forward to editing them. Now I can mark my list in my Wiki-box of doing all of the Base Story missions as complete. I've been meaning to tackle the story when I first joined but never got round to doing it, being distracted and all.
Well, I'm sure there's a reason Draug'oth's been inactive lately, probably working on schoolwork and stuff.
I'm a Ghost. ;)
No, seriously, I am just fast with writing. I took a break to have something to eat and then I was back on. It's easy once you got certain things down, like knowing when to make a certain section BOLD or add an asterisk mark. It's all a matter of formatting.
I have a feeling that when you and I get through doing all of the Story missions, I'll have made Elder Captain in ranking. You, well, you're not far behind. You might surpass Primus Draug'oth in editing points as well.
Thank you. Can you modify your format to match other articles, like the "A Guardian Rises" article? It is what I use as my model in formatting Story missions.
Before coming to me, I suggest trying to have a discussion and vote on the talk page because I really don't know any better than anyone else on this type of stuff. Maybe there's not enough activity for a decent response, but it's worth a shot. If it's not confirmed to be part of the official series of events then I would say leave it off. If you do want to get some more opinions and they go the other way, that's fine by me too!
Aye. For the Exos fighting the Vex I'd put it in The Collapse section of the Timeline, right after where it says Vex units begin waking up in response to the Darkness.
Well, then by asking the community you'd go to the relevant Talk page and post there, but since few users are active here as it is, and few admins apart from Xamikaze and Porple active also, it'd be best to go straight to either of them. Primus Draug'oth's opinion would be as good as mine, same with TheHouseofWinter's, but we're not admins (and I'd not want the job, BTW).
I'd ask in the talk section, or an admin, since it's not conclusive. There's also another card that talks about Golden Age Exos fighting Vex and we don't know when that happens. Ask Porplemontage if you want. That's all I have to offer.
Now I read the card clearly. It says the creature holding the Ghost was four-armed, and that confirmed it in my mind. And thank you.
All right, cleaned up the language so it didn't wholly come off as copying the card, and I apologize for misinterpreting what you meant. I hadn't made the connection myself before between the Vault of Glass card and the Fallen.
On second thought, it was the language that threw me off. It is written in the present tense but is now destroyed. Thanks for clearing that up, I'll go and fix it and make it wiki-worthy.
