Merciless is an exotic Fusion Rifle in Destiny 2. It's main perk is that its charge time decreases and impact increases the more times it fires on the same enemy, making it most effective against enemies with high health.

Merciless has a perk by the same name that if the enemy hit by the previous shot from Merciless doesn't die from it, Merciless' rate of fire will increase until it kills, gets reloaded, or runs out of ammo.
