The Taken Acolyte is a type of Taken Hive which deploys Acolyte's Eye turrets. Their Shredders deal Arc damage, but the bolts travel in an arc. They are more aggressive than their ordinary counterparts and do not utilize cover, and move slowly.

Taken Acolytes were formerly named Lurk during production of The Taken King.
