Caiatl is the Daughter of the Former Emperor Calus.She and a group of others staged a coup to overthrow Calus . What is known of her history is that she and Umun'arath were close friends and that she grew up liking war games and wearing armor. She was a Star pilot In the military,Calus says that he was proud of her,and hoped that she would lead the Cabal to victory, during the Coup,She says to him "Father,I will not be weak"
