Terrors were a unique type of Proxy found within the Haunted Forest. They appear to be the result of a glitch within the Infinite Forest, and prey upon the fears of Guardians.[citation needed]

- Terrors were originally called "Nightmares" when they first appeared during the 2018 Festival of the Lost; however, with the release of Shadowkeep and the appearance of a new enemy class titled Nightmares, the "Nightmares" in the Infinite Forest were renamed "Terrors" during the 2019 Festival of the Lost.
