Zahn'ra is a member of Empress Caiatl's Imperial Cabal, and a descendant of the arms dealer Bracus Zahn. At the recommendation of the Empress, Zahn'ra joined Niik and Ana Bray as they repurposed a Pyramid Scale. As she landed in the Hangar, Ana questioned how much they knew about her, and Niik shared that all she knew was that she had "questionable family heritage". Zahn'ra kicked the Pyramid Scale down the ramp of her Thresher. Carrying it over to them, she asked if Niik and Ana were the engineers, and Ana introduced themselves. Zahn'ra complemented Archie, mistaking him for a cat, which Niik corrected. Zahn'ra asked if he was an engineer as well, which Ana awkwardly replied that he wasn't. Ana asked her what her ideas were for the Scale, and she suggested converting it into a gun. However, Niik gathered her Servitor and shared a Sparrow design she believed Amanda would have liked. Together they built Unified Theory.
