Koroth, Beloved by Calus is a Hive Knight with the ability to utilize psionic abilities. Once an ordinary Thrall imprisoned within the Menagerie aboard the Leviathan, he witnessed the various powers of Emperor Calus' Councilors, aspiring to learn and utilize this ability against them. Becoming a Knight, yet borrowing some aspects of a Wizard, he learned a way to circumvent his racial difference and psionic limitations: the Royal Wine. Embedding these crystals into his chitin, he began to utilize psionic abilities, with each practice making him a more psionically profound warrior. Before Calus could open his Menagerie to other Guardians, Koroth would be pulled into the Asylum of Screams. However, he only began to become stronger as Darumel unwillingly fed his desire to be a psionic master. Seeing him as a threat to his dominion and his troops, Darumel ordered a bounty on the Knight's head and Koroth would meet a (rather gruesome) end by the Guardians.
