Ascendant Guards are a group of high ranking Psions, Legionaries and Incendiors of the Imperial Cabal. They are employed in many operations, both as frontline troops, infiltrators, and guards for Empress Caiatl. They all have very high health and can draw much of the fire from the player's foes, and their heavy melee attacks can ragdoll most Minor enemies. However, they shouldn't be relied on to kill more powerful targets.
