Gameplay[edit]

The Blighted Eyes first appear during the encounter with Rathil, First Broken Knight of Fikrul. During the encounter Rathil will teleport the fireteam into cages, the players will have to shoot the three Blighted Eyes to open the cage doors.

During the encounter against the Locus of Wailing Grief, Blighted Eyes will appear around the fortress. Destroying them will summon Malaris, Second Broken Knight, and Vrysiks, Third Broken Knight, killing the Knights will drop lanterns.

For the final encounter against Hefnd's Vengeance, Blighted Chimaera, the fireteam must destroy the Blighted Eyes to summon Nymeks, Fourth Broken Knight, and Sirloks, Fifth Broken Knight. Like the previous encounter, killing them will drop lanterns. When you deal enough damage to Hefnd's Vengeance, it will teleport up to the floating platforms. Destroying Blighted Eyes will extend the damage phase. During its final stand, Hefnd's Vengeance will teleport you to a platform, where it will summon Blighted Eyes to assist it.
