Field Forged is a weapon foundry of the City[1]. Field Forge weapon names do not appear to follow a pre-established naming pattern. However, it seems to suggest some association with the EDZ, as the visual style of the weapons is remarkably classic with low technology and no visual similarity to other traditional Weapon Foundries. Your weapons can be obtained either through rewards from seasonal activities such as Strikes, Crucible, Gambit, Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris.[2]

Overview

Little is known about Field Forge or its origins; the Lore tab for Hawthorne's Field-Forged Shotgun seems to indicate that much about the foundry is mysterious to the people of the Last City.

In Season of the Witch, Field Forge was given a foundry origin trait, along with a new logo and weapon set.
