Collections is a system introduced in Destiny 2's expansion Forsaken used to track gear obtained in-game and rewards players who complete gear sets with badges that are displayed next to their gamertag. It displays both items the player has collected and items the player hasn't collected. There may also be classified items within the Collections that will only reveal themselves upon acquisition.

Exotics

This section displays Exotic weapons, armor, and their ornaments. It is subdivided into three parts: Weapons, Armor, and Weapon Ornaments.

Exotic Weapons

Displays all Exotic weapons, split into Kinetic, Energy, and Power lists.

Exotic Armor

Displays all Exotic armor pieces, split into Hunter, Titan, and Warlock lists.

Weapon Ornaments

Displays the ornaments of Exotic weapons, split into separate lists for each weapon type.

Weapons

This section displays weapons of Legendary rarity and below. It is subdivided into Primary weapons, Special weapons, Heavy weapons, and Legendary Weapon Ornaments.

Primary Weapons

Consists of all weapons that use Primary ammo. Is further subdivided into lists based on weapon type (Auto Rifle, Sidearm, etc.)

Special Weapons

Consists of all weapons that use Special (green) ammo bricks. Is further subdivided into lists based on weapon type.

Heavy Weapons

Consists of all weapons that use Heavy (purple) ammo bricks. Is further subdivided into lists based on weapon type.

Legendary Weapon Ornaments

Consists of all Legendary weapon ornaments, divided into lists based on weapon type.

Armor

This section displays armor sets, divided into subsections based on whether they're for Hunters, Titans, or Warlocks. Further subdivided based on their source (Endgame, Levelling, etc.)

Mods

Consists of all non-seasonal mods, divided into Armor, Weapons, or Equipment.

Armor Mods

Consists of all Armor mods. Further subdivided into lists based on what type of armor they slot into, aswell as General mods slottable on any piece of armor, Combat Style mods that are meant for creating builds, and Legacy and Raid mods that can only be obtained from certain activities, on certain armor sets.

Weapon Mods

Consists of all Weapon mods, including adept mods available only from certain activities, on certain weapons.

Equipment Mods

Consists of all mods for Equipment other than armor and weapons. Currently consists of only one section - Ghost mods.

Equipment

Consists of all Ghost shells, Ships, Sparrows, and Seasonal Artifacts. The Ghost shell, Ship, and Sparrow sections are further subdivided based on which Season the item was introduced.

Flair

Consists of all Emblems, Shaders, and Finishers, as well as miscellaneous items.

Emblems

Consists of all Emblems, divided based on what general grouping they fall under:

  • Seasonal - Any emblem tied to a Season or Event.
  • Account - Any emblem tied to a Class, Subclass, or other Account-wide source.
  • General - Any emblem tied to a special event, expansion pre-order, or weapon foundry.
  • Competitive - Any emblem tied to a PvP activity.
  • Gambit - Any emblem tied to Gambit.
  • Strikes - Any emblem tied to a specific strike or the strike playlists.
  • World - Any emblem tied to a specific planet, a dungeon, or an expansion's campaign.
  • Trials of Osiris - Any emblem tied to the Trials of Osiris.
  • Raids - Any emblem tied to a Raid.

Shaders

Consists of all Shaders, split into four groups:

  • Seasonal - Any shader tied to a specific Season.
  • Activities - Any shader tied to PvP, Gambit, Raids, and Dungeons.
  • Tower - Any shader tied to the weapon foundries, and the Vanguard.
  • World - Any shader tied to a specific location.

Transmat Effects

Consists of all Transmat Effects, subdivided based on which Season they were introduced in.

Finishers

Consists of all Finishers, subdivided based on which Season they were introduced in.

Miscellaneous

Consists of any item that doesn't fit well anywhere else in the Collections.
