Eccaleists

The Eccaleists were a faction of Awoken that arose during the early days of Awoken civilization in the Distributary. Their guiding principle was that the Awoken, being born of a conflict between Light and Darkness, were obligated to one day play a role in the resolution of that conflict, or in less esoteric wording those who thought it best to attempt to return to Earth.
