"Eliksni! Kridis, the Priestess, cries out to you across the abyss! As we speak, the once-Shipstealer brings the promise of our people to pass. Soon we will rise to true prominence, united under one banner and one Kell—with no gods but ourselves."
— Kridis.

Kridis, Dark Priestess is a Fallen of the House of Salvation and a member of the Dark Council following Eramis, Kell of Darkness. Kridis is a skilled Stasis wielder and is as lethal as loyal; who will stop at nothing to advance Eramis's cause.

She is a worshipper of the Darkness and studied the Dark to the point of being obsessed.[1][2] For this reason, not many Eliksni wish to follow her.[3] However, she is a proficient speaker, capable of getting Eliksni to listen to her and has managed to gather a following of Eliksni who also worship the Dark.[4][5]

Biography

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

As Eramis began enacting more drastic measures to defeat Variks and the Guardian, Kridis noticed Eramis beginning to lose control of her Stasis powers, and urged her to use caution lest she become overwhelmed by the Darkness.

Following Eramis' defeat at the hands of the Guardian, Kridis began preaching of the Kell of Darkness' messianic return and took the mantle as the House's de facto leader until Eramis' return. She was defeated by the Guardian, leaving her plans to supposedly resurrect Eramis unfinished.

Personality and Traits

Kridis is extremely religious towards The Darkness and Stasis, seeing it as an extension into a new life of godhood. Her obsession got to the point where she has forsaken normal weapons for pure Stasis. Unlike others of the council, Kridis saw Stasis as a religious icon, allowing the Fallen to rise past Ether and their mortal shells.
