The Decrepit Wastes is a region on Earth. It is filled with the ruins of a pre-Golden Age city once known as Vancouver, which was ruined during the Collapse. Off in the city outskirts, ruins of the once-buried Ancient city of Levania can be found. Due to its insignificance, the region was mostly abandoned aside from a few Fallen scavengers. However, things changed after the Sanctum Heralds arrived and began excavating Levania, seeking to open The Grand Hypergate. Their presence turned the Decrepit Waste into a warzone, and the primary front of The Void Crisis.
