The Phalanx Echo is a simulated Taken Phalanx champion seen in the Prophecy Dungeon, where it is conjured by the Nine and summoned by the Kell Echo to bar the way deeper into the expansive realm of the Nine. It is encountered as the first boss of Prophecy dungeon.

Trivia

If one were to look closely, the Phalanx Echo has a cape and resembles a Blood Guard Legionary. The Phalanx Echo could be a representation of Umun'arath and a potential future confrontation between her due to the namesake of the dungeon.
