Zulmak, Instrument of Torment is a very powerful Hive Knight and a champion of the Hidden Swarm . He is encountered as the final boss of Pits of Heresy dungeon within the Cradle of Damnation, accompanied by Several Hive, many his great lieutenants, under the rally of Hashladûn, Daughter of Crota.

Biography

According to the lore book: Inquisition of the Damned, Zulmak was a champion within the pit underneath the Scarlet Keep, aspiring to take Oryx's throne through his own sword logic, he was defeated by Azavath, the Suffer Queen of an Ever-Rising Swarm. This was a defiance to The Sword Logic and his resurrection the very same.

Trivia

• Zulmak bears a striking appearance to that of Urrox, Flame Prince and Kandorak as well as the Swordbearers in Crota's Oversoul Throne.
  • This could mean that Zulmak may be a Swordbearer who gained in size and might to how he is right now through The Sword Logic.
    • Due to the fact that many of his servants bear the title of "...of the Broken Blade," it could be inferred that he is also a Blade of Crota.
