Voltaic Guards are a more powerful Captain variant appearing in the Scavenger's Den, where they guard the shields preventing further exploration of the Lost Sector. They also make an appearance in the European Dead Zone Adventure Poor Reception, where they must be killed in order to locate the source of the signal interference.
