GameplayEdit
Taken Goblins are used less as cannon fodder and more in a support role. While sometimes they still appear in hordes, they are most dangerous when accompanying other more powerful enemies like Taken Knights. They are armed primarily with Void Slap Rifles but occasionally use Solar Torch Hammers. The ability they gained from being taken is the power to project a beam that shields nearby enemies, rendering them immune to all damage as long as they stay close. They usually sit in the backlines, behind cover or their ward, and try to avoid combat in favor of continuing defense. They can still teleport, though more sparingly. Unlike their non-Taken counterparts, their weak point is the head like most other enemies. They still don't have much health though, and can be killed easily. They also need some time to change target for their shielding, and can be tricked into defending non-important enemies for extended periods of time.
