Exclusion Zone

The Exclusion Zone is a territory on Mars, Meridian Bay, controlled by the Cabal and is one of their main staging areas, with towering bases and Valus Ta'aurc's Land Tank, the Cerberus Vae III, stationed there.

Overview

Within the zone is the Dust Palace and Sand Eaters. The Virgo Prohibition and numerous Cabal Legions clash over the territory.

The Taken King

The Exclusion Zone later had become a hotspot of the Taken invasion due to the amount of Cabal and Vex located there which made for good resources to replenish Oryx, the Taken King's dwindling Taken forces. This invasion along with the Venus invasion was led by Sho'oulth, Horror of Oryx, who would be struck down by the Guardian, causing the Taken presence on Mars to dwindle, while Venus' had backup leaders to take Sho'oulth's place.
